This course is designed to inform employees of the requirements for practices and procedures to protect themselves from the hazards associated with entry into a confined space. In addition discussions will include non-entry and entry rescue. Training of personnel with regard to confined space entry will address the following (Identification of the Locations and Types of Confined Spaces:Identification of the Physical and/or Chemical Hazards:Instruction on How to Conduct Proper Atmospheric Testing:Identification of Necessary Safety Equipment and Clothing:Responsibility of the Attendants:Communications and Emergencies:Rescue Procedure:The Permit System)
