The HAZWOPER course is directed at those employees working on hazardous waste sites and who are involved in clean-up operations emergency response operations and the storage disposal or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. These training requirements must be met before engagement in hazardous waste operations that could expose employees to hazardous substances and health or safety hazards.
