IEMT is approved by the Connecticut Office of Higher Education to offer over 100 industrial hygiene, environmental, safety, construction and Building Performance Institute (BPI) building science courses. IEMT has been in business for over 13 years and is one of only 13 BPI Test Centers in New England. IEMT promotes a commitment to providing quality workforce training and has achieved the nationally recognized Training Program Accreditation from the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC). We are credentialed in the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) residential energy efficiency Job Task Analyses: Retrofit Installer Technician, Energy Auditor, Quality Control Inspector, and Crew Leader.

IEMT has a long ongoing relationship with the local Workforce Investment Boards. In offering our diverse range of programs and courses we also provide opportunities for students to build new backgrounds and acquire new career paths.
